I have used The Healthy Prep Chef since the business has started and I am very impressed on how John has helped with my diet. I have a lactose intolerance and I have had to seriously change my eating habits and diet. John has worked very well with me and helped manage my diet. The food and flavour is amazing, which has also helped me Lose nearly 2 and a half stone in the last three months with very little exercise. I have tried a number of meal prep companies within the North East and around the country and nothing compares to the quality and freshness of these dishes.

I started ordering from The Healthy Prep Chef as I am generally very busy with work and training and don't have time to meal prep my self or cook that often (even though I am a Chef). The meals are very convenient. Fresh! Vibrant! Packed with flavour! As I'm on a lifestyle change and working with a calorie deficit on a daily basis. I have been using The Healthy Prep Chef for a few months now and am very impressed with the food and the quality of service received. Before using the Healthy Prep Chef 3 years ago In 2019 I decided it was time to get fit and healthy and signed up to a very strict diet plan (800 calories a day). This worked well for me as someone else was providing the meals and I had no choice about what I ate. I lost 6 stones in 6 months and was paranoid about putting weight on again. The problem was that I was given a calorie target to stick to, but up to me how I used it. I tried really hard but became obsessed with calorie counting and was eating up to my allowance whether I needed it or not. I was always hungry. I found a company that offered prepared meal plans. These were three meals a day and you could pick your calorie intake. I tried this but the meals were tiny and I was constantly hungry - I ended up eating more than I wanted. I put some weight on and then after a few months of difficulties in my life I put weight on again! I returned to the plan earlier this year and once again got to goal. I spent a long time looking for the right solution to help me maintain my weight when I saw my friend recommend John Paul The Healthy Prep Chef. I decided to give him a try. I contacted him and he was more than friendly and gave me all the information I asked. I speculatively ordered 15 meals and some breakfasts. The first weeks food arrived and I discovered I could eat three meals a day which were healthy and filling. The portions are generous and the calorie count low. I have overnight oats (which come with homemade jam and granola which are both filling and delicious) and two meals a day along with some fruit and sugar free ice cream. I am getting everything I need without having to spend hours buying food, cooking it and working out the calories. I have successfully maintained my weight for around 6 weeks now and have in fact lost a little in the last couple. I would highly recommend The Healthy Prep Chef for anyone looking for healthy, filling, nutritious food that ready in 4 mins…….. Keep it going John Paul you are providing an amazing service.

I’m Simone Abley, I train & compete in both MMA and Taekwondo. I’ve done taekwondo since I was 4 years old and compete internationally. In 2020 I transitioned into MMA and my record in amateur mma is 2-2. I’ve been on the meals for a while now, I’ve definitely felt fuelled for all my sessions, it’s best I’ve ever felt in fight camp and the meals have been a contributing factor alongside keeping my weight down which is a bonus. The meals are so quick and easy, they are the hands down best meal prep service I’ve used. None of them taste dry, full of flavour and of the right nutrients.
